Vikrant Massey's starrer "12th Fail" is on a winning streak at the box office, displaying remarkable growth even in its second week of release. Despite facing tough competition from the India vs. South Africa cricket match, the film managed to cross the 3 crore mark on a Sunday, which is a significant achievement.

The Vidhu Vinod Chopra-directed film has continued its strong performance during the weekdays of the second week, surpassing the 1 crore mark consistently. In fact, the film's collections have remained higher than its first-day earnings of 1.10 crores, an impressive feat in itself.

On its latest outing, "12th Fail" brought in an additional 1.31 crores, maintaining its solid performance. Even though there was a drop from Friday's collection of 1.75 crores, it is still significantly less than 50%, indicating the film's sustained appeal.

Last week, the film witnessed a daily increase in collections, a trend that might not continue, but the film is expected to maintain a steady performance. If "12th Fail" manages to increase its collections further, it would be a remarkable achievement, although it's wise to keep expectations realistic and hope that it consistently crosses the 1 crore mark until Thursday.

The film has already amassed a total of 22.76 crores, making the 30 crores milestone seem easily attainable. "12th Fail" is anticipated to maintain its strong performance until Saturday. Even with the release of "Tiger 3" on Sunday, the impact on "12th Fail" is expected to be minimal due to its relatively lower scale. The film has already proven itself to be an above-average success and is often compared to Rajkummar Rao's "Newton," which had a lifetime collection of 22.80 crores.

Stay tuned for more updates on "12th Fail" as it continues to impress at the box office.
